This is Valerie's bridal portrait that we teased you with a couple of weeks ago. We photographed the wedding at The Acorn Theatre, which is where we had the good fortune to photograph the bridal portrait as well. There were far to many images to choose from and Johnny and I have been fighting all week over this, so I'll just post my favorites and keep it simple. Not only was the location unique, but the dress had a story behind it as well. Valerie's mother made this beautiful dress incorporating over 100 ostrich feathers, obtained from ostrich.com. Interestingly, The Acorn Theatre is housed in a location which at one time was a featherbone factory using turkey feathers for women's corsets.
